Action day! 01/06/26 

If you’ve ever wondered what happens when you mix a wide range of machinery with an absolute ocean of Irish rain, well... the latest Trackdays.ie Action Day gave us the answer.

It was loud. It was sideways. It was entertaining. And did I mention it was mega wet? It was MEGA wet. 

Yet, despite the skies absolutely opening up, the turnout was still fantastic. The paddock was buzzing, the track was alive, and I guess the conditions made the drifters semi-happy - if nothing else, the wet track meant way fewer tires were sacrificed!

Wasn't all plain sailing for me and my gear either! It was a first proper test in wet and turns out that one of my lenses are not that weather sealed as i was hoping for, it fogged up internally!! Luckily, I caught it early. There’s nothing worse than reviewing a killer sequence of action on track, only to realize it looks like it was shot through a steaming cup of tea.

I also cut the session alittle short as was pretty much soaked up to waistline 😅
